“Kari was my support system through my breastfeeding journey as a first time mother. She’s very knowledgeable, kind and caring. We started seeing her when our baby was about two months old, he had some weight gain issues and I struggled with nipple pain to the point it made me cry. My husband and I had a lot of questions and struggles and she was always available to talk and support us. She’s absolutely amazing, she taught me techniques for a proper latching and positions to feel comfortable breastfeeding. With her support and recommendations I started feeling better, baby got right back on track with his weight and even though it was hard and I felt like quitting breastfeeding multiple times, she was always there to support me when I needed, this was for about three months with follow-ups and home visits. My baby is currently 9 months old and now I can say I’m a happy and proud momma who can exclusively breastfeed her baby and he’s growing up beautifully and healthy. I 100% recommend her and even better, if you’re an expectant mother don’t wait until you’re struggling, reach out to her before hand so she can help from the very beginning.”

I highly recommend Kari and her team for lactation services! After nursing five babies, some even tandem nursing, I felt like I “should” know what I’m doing as I prepared to nurse my sixth baby. However, right after I gave birth Kari came and offered support and guidance. With her insight and encouragement I was able to address a tongue tie immediately and fix a poor latch within the first week after birth. I was having cracking, with bleeding and intense pain that brought tears to my eyes. But after just a couple appointments with Kari, and following through on my part of the treatment plan, I was nursing pain free with a better latch. From that moment on, my baby jumped on the growth scale to the 99th percentile on weight and 95th percentile on height. I have never had a baby grow so quickly, some even struggling to put on weight during my previous nursing journeys. Having the peace of mind that my baby was getting enough milk to grow well has made a world of difference in my postpartum experience overall and I would suggest all moms, whether they’re having their first, or their sixth, reach out to Kari. Her love for mothers and babies, her knowledge and passion, and her encouragement and guidance can help set anyone up for a successful breastfeeding journey.
