Hey friends, Kari Bower here, owner and founder of Journey Well. As we were growing our family, God began opening our eyes to the needs around us. We became a host family for Safe Families for Children and took sweet kiddos into care as we raised our own. Then we became licensed foster parents. God kept refining us and helped us to be brave to answer a calling to pursue domestic infant adoption. We wanted a mama to know we would love her and her child no matter what. We prayed courageously for our birth mothers to choose life for their babies. God heard our prayers and orchestrated our adoptions. We chose adoption two times and we are forever changed because of it.

As an adoptive mom I have been there. I knew I wanted support to help me streamline the process. I found support and pointed families in that direction. Then one day I looked up those support services and checked in to see what they were charging families. I was shocked to discover these services were costing adoptive families $3,500-7,000!!! In good faith, I didn’t feel as if I could refer families any more to those services knowing families need to save on costs for their adoptions. That is when I felt an impression to offer the same type of support services for less than a quarter of what other consulting services were offering. I had already been helping families for years. That is what lead me to start Journey Well Adoption Support Services
